Submission and Acceptance Criteria

Because every great idea deserves a chance, we made the submission steps in the “Environment Hackathon” simple and clear to help you focus on your innovation instead of complications.

Register on the platform as a team leader or member.
Form a team {2–5 members} by inviting colleagues or accepting join requests.
Submit your idea through the platform, selecting the appropriate track and attaching supporting files.
Follow up on the review by supervisors and update your idea if needed.
Prepare for the final presentations by attending workshops and mentorship sessions before Judging Day.

We believe that a healthy environment starts with mature ideas and serious commitment, so we have set some requirements to ensure the seriousness of participation and equal opportunities.

Participants must be 15 years old or above.
Teams must consist of 2 to 5 members only.
Teams must adhere to the deadlines for registration and idea submission.
The idea must be related to one of the hackathon’s environmental tracks.
A participant may join only one team.
Participation is free and open to everyone.

1. Compliance with General Conditions

The applicant must fall within the target group (age – nationality – geographical area – specialization or field).
Full compliance with the terms and conditions stated in the registration policy and declaration.
Accurate completion of all required fields in the registration form.

2. Originality of the Idea

The idea must be new or clearly developed, not duplicated or copied.
It must not have been used previously in similar competitions or fully implemented by other entities.

3. Relevance to the Hackathon Theme

The idea must be directly and clearly related to the goals and themes of the hackathon.
It should address a real challenge within the defined scope (environmental, social, technological, etc.).

4. Feasibility

The idea must be feasible within the resources and timeframe of the hackathon.
There should be clear features of a practical solution or prototype (Prototype / MVP).
The idea should have the potential to be developed into a real project that benefits the community or market.

5. Creativity and Innovation

The idea should demonstrate a creative or distinctive technical aspect.
It should use innovative solutions or modern technologies (if available) effectively.

6. Clarity of Presentation and Team Structure

The idea should be clearly presented in writing, explaining the objective, mechanism, and expected benefits.
For group submissions: roles within the team must be clearly defined.
All required attachments must be submitted (introductory video – business model – design files).

7. Expected Impact

The expected impact of the idea on the target group, the environment, or society.
Potential for expansion or sustainability in the future.

8. Commitment to Deadlines

Submissions must be sent within the specified time period without delay.
Responses to any comments or inquiries from the organizing committee must be provided promptly.

To ensure a fair and productive competition, the judging panel has set precise criteria to select the best and most impactful solutions.

* All submissions will be reviewed by the specialized judging panel, and projects that best meet the acceptance criteria will be selected to move on to the next stage.
